The Autumnal Print

Hey lovelies, thank you for taking the time to scroll through my photos, i’m aware that I posted like a million of them! I’ve been excited to share these photos with you for a little while, I just hadn’t gotten around to editing them but here they are. This dress is one of my most favourite purchases, it’s a dress that I bought back at the end of the summer in the sale, with the hindsight of its autumnal potential! This dress called for a photo shoot at the local apple orchard, I had a vision of this shoot, the minute I tried the dress on, I imagined the red floral/leafy print against the backdrop of the red and ripened apples and the complimentary aspect that it would bring to the photos. These images were taken at the very beginning of the Fall season, you can tell because there are still visible hints of my summer tan, whereas now I am back to being see through! Though I am sure this would have made a lovely summer’s dress, I am glad I chose to embrace it for the autumn. Choosing complimentary colours and pieces, I paired this printed piece with deep brown boots, a cosy chestnut-y coloured knit (that is as soft as it looks) and my go-to hat of the autumn, this green fedora. All these pieces lend a more countryside/heritage look and feel to the printed cotton dress.

Well, I truly hope you like this look as much as I do.

Sending you love and light
