Warming Browns and Chalky Whites

Happy Monday lovelies, and happy halloween! Today is the last day of October and I can hardly believe it, this month has had some lovely moments but has also had some hard that have felt very uncomfortable. But as we move into November, I am looking forward to what is yet to come and unfold for us. The autumn so far has been rather mild and on some day’s still quite warm and so the need for heavy knit and bulky boots has been few and far between but i’m sure they’ll be plenty of colder days to come and so for now, I am trying to enjoy the gentle transition into autumn. This look wasn’t taken this month, in fact is was taken at the end of last month (hence the flip flops) but I really enjoyed capturing this look in the warming rays of the evening sun (something we won’t get to enjoy for a few months, now that the clocks have turned) and the warming brown tone of the knitted cardigan against the crinkled, chalky white dress felt gentle but evoking of the autumnal change that was felt through the slightly crisp air of that beautiful evening. Well, it’s scheduled to rain this evening, so I imagine our trick or treat outing is going to be short lived but we can try at the very least.

Wishing you a spooky Halloween.
Sending you love and light,

Daniella x.
