Hey lovelies, I hope you have had a good week. I mentioned in my last post (here) that we have had the Hand, foot and mouth virus running through our family and because we are such a big family, there is a lot of us to get through and this week my nephews and my sister have come down with it also! Thankfully our daughter is starting to slowly but surely recover from it and hopefully this time next week, things will be looking a little brighter and (fingers crossed) healthier.
Here are some lovely photos we took on a trip up to the Quantocks from a sunny sunday a few weeks ago. We actually managed to get our eldest nephew to come with us which was nice, it’s hard peeling him away from the computer, he’s a gamer kid through and through, which is awesome because he truly loves it but it’s nice to get him out with us too. We were hoping to catch sight of some of the ponies that are often seen up on these hills but unfortunately we didn’t get to see them this time. Through the early weeks of autumn, thanks to the somewhat mild temps, I have been able to enjoy wearing skirts and shorts and have been pairing them with my knee high flat boots. I do love this combination, I believe it to look rather quite chic for autumn. For this look I paired these navy shorts with a floral blouse and layered with a cream sweater vest. An outfit that felt little preppy with some countryside charm. I hope you like todays photos.
Sending you love and light,
