Happy June 1st! Here is how me and my daughter both wore pink a few weeks ago. Though I don’t typically wear a lot of pink, I think that makes it feel extra special when I do wear it and this frankie shirt that I bought last summer, is still a favourite of mine! I paired it with a soft pink cashmere knit, to create a monochromatic feel and then styled the combo with green jeans, as I thought the gentle pink and deep khaki pairing felt a little less expected. Nova-Rose still fits in her pink culottes from last year (probably because they were too big for her then) and I combined it with this sweet fluffy, floral cardigan that her Nana got her for Easter. There was also a cute daisy headband and for the majority of the walk it stayed put, with Nova-Rose, anything that goes on her head usually gets thrown off, keeping her summer hats on is undoubtedly going to be a mission!
These photos are from April, when the signs of spring were still in the early phases, with delicate details of gentle blossom getting caught in the chilly breeze. These were taken at the end of a bank holiday weekend, after the few days of sun had now faded and we were left with a day of overcast weather but in need of some fresh air, we took to the back fields of our village and did our best to enjoy the outdoors before the late afternoon rain kicked in.
May June be the month that brings you plenty of sunny days so you can create happy memories that will last a lifetime. Sending you love and light, Daniella x
