How I would Style Grassy Greens For Spring

Hey lovelies, just a quick post to share a casual yet chic springtime look! Yes, officially the Spring is just around the corner, though yesterday, here in the UK I could have sworn it was the first day of spring! The sun was shining, the birds were singing, the daffodils and crocuses were blooming and the scent of change was in the air. I am really drawn to greens at the moment, especially what I like to call fresh grassy looking greens and the green sweater from Whistles that is featured above is an ideal piece for the spring. It’s a knitted sweater, which is admittedly necessary whilst we are still in the cooler temps but its vibrant colour makes the fact that we are still in knitwear a lot more tolerable! The green is beautifully refreshing and is a nice alternative to the usual springtime favourites like pinks, purples and yellows, not that I have anything against those colours for spring but the green does certainly feel like the more unlikely suspect and it’s always nice to have something a little different from time to time. I liked the idea of styling it in a more casual format and if it were me styling it, I would opt for wearing it over a fresh white tee, some slightly loose fitting navy trousers (though black or white would also look equally stylish) a camel jacket/coat, as you can see I am desperately crushing on the wool this one from Arket. Though ankle boots or loafers could work just as well with this combination, I am a sneaker girl at heart and these Veja sneakers would keep the outfit looking low-key but still on point. Add in a delicate necklace to complete your look, I liked the simplistic femininity of the pearly one by & Other Stories – HERE.

I hope I have managed to help inspire you with this casual spring combination. Sending you love and light,

Daniella x
