Nova-Rose’s Flowers and Fairy’s 3rd Birthday

Happy Monday lovelies, I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had nice one, we went to one of our favourite local coffee shops and had a hot chocolate and one of their famous brownies! We did this without Nova-Rose because right now I am trying to strike a bit more balance in the way of creating a little more time to do things just on our own from time to time but i’ll try and go into that in another post. We also spent the Sunday doing some redecorating our bedroom. Today’s post is an exciting one for me because I wanted to share these photos that were taken last week, when we celebrated Nova-Rose’s third birthday. The intention was to always host a third birthday party but I kinda had to drop that idea because Nova-Rose simply gets overwhelmed by all the people, at least I think that’s what happens, when dealing with a non verbal toddler it can be hard to tell but she simply doesn’t seem herself when we have had parties in the past!

So I decided I was still going to decorate our home a little as I still wanted to make it special Nova and the theme was flowers and fairies and I was so happy with how it turned out. The day was pretty perfect and though I would have loved to have had more family around to celebrate her special day with us, I feel content that the way we celebrated was right for our Nova-Rose. In the morning she had her presents and then had a long play with them and after that we all got ready and headed to the beach, so that Nova-Rose could spend the afternoon throwing pebbles into the water and exploring her surroundings. Even though it was freezing and the fish and chip shops were all closed, it was lovely to see Nova-Rose completely in her element.

Well I hope you have enjoyed this little insight into Nova-Rose’s birthday, over on my instagram, you can see the birthday Reel i created and shared on there. Here is the link

Sending you love and light for the week ahead,

Daniella x
