Late Nights & Blues On Blues

Happy Wednesday, We are having problems with Nova-Rose’s sleep at the moment, meaning there is such little time for me to dedicate to my blog posts right now, which kinda bums me out and especially because I have shot lots of content that I want to share with you! But as parents we have to go with the ebb and flow and thing with children is that even though I do feel they benefit from having a sense of routine and familiarity, that doesn’t mean they always keep to that and if we don’t learn to move with them, we will become very frustrated, very fast and that is no good for anyone!

There are days where I’m looking forward to my time with my partner in the evening just chilling on the sofa, watching something on tv and sipping at a hot cup of tea whilst watching the evening draw in. It’s simple but a highlight I look forward to. Sometimes though, our little one has other ideas and the evening can feel just as long as the day but my advice is, these times won’t last forever, there will come a time when our children are settled and the evenings we be reclaimed once again and then one day they will no longer even live with us! And though in the moment, when it’s ten o’clock at night and she’s still bouncing around (even though I’ve done everything to tire her out that day) I can feel tired and a bit aggravated because I just want to relax, ultimately I need to remain calm and embrace the extra time I get to have with my daughter. So yeah, completely unrelated to today’s photos it that’s where I’m at right now!

What I love about today’s look is that it was both comfortable and stylish and as an active mummy. Those two factors are important for me because even though enjoying my day with Nova-Rose does is first and foremost, my style is still very important to me and putting together looks regardless to how dressed up or dressed down is a part of my day that I look forward to. I originally wanted to wear my wrap around sandals with this navy blue and floral combination but that day it was just that little bit too chilly and so my classic Veja’s were a great substitute and they undoubtedly continue to be one of favourite go-to sneakers.

That’s all for today my lovelies, sending you love and light,

Daniella x
