More Blues Is Always a Good Idea

Hey lovelies, I’m a little behind this week but I’m in no rush and neither should you be. There is no need to put pressure on ourselves to get things done quickly because it’s better to get them done efficiently and at a pace that it isn’t going to effect our stress levels, otherwise it takes the enjoyment out of whatever it is we are doing. So let’s remember to take our time, so time works with us rather then against us and let’s remember to breath deep and have faith that we will get it done.

If there is one colour that I am all about right now and for probably getting on for the best part of a year, it is blue! Light blue or dark, I’ll take them all. I’ve already shared one blue outfit post from this spring with you (see here) but this time I’ve styled my outfit with a little less femininity and instead opted for an outfit with slouchy proportions but equally so. I love the blue tonal styling and especially admire how the sky blue of the cardigan looks paired with the stealth and timeless navy blue of the trousers. I feel like navy is a colour that often can get overlooked and I found that this colour combination of blue was the perfect way to breath some fresh life into our old navy favourites for the spring.

Sending you Love and light,

Daniella x

  1. Oh gosh, I love Everything About This Look. That lovely blue combined with the navy. I agree, I feel navy is often underrated and underappreciated…but it is so good and so chic! I love the slouchiness of the cardigan combined with the wide leg pants. So often you hear “wide on bottom, fitted on top” but I’m like NOOOOO let’s have a whole silhouette of slouchy proportions – it looks so EASY! And that chestnut bag with the blues? HEAVEN.

    This whole look is HEAVEN.

    1. Hi Bettye, thank you so so much for your kind words, I am so happy you like the look and that you also have an appreciation for slouchy proportions and navy. Thank you again,
