One of the gifts I received for Christmas was this pair of Le Chameau wellington boots and I couldn’t have been happier or more surprised. I’ve coveted these wellies for a while, as I think they are one of the chicest pairs of Wellington boots around and as someone who hasn’t worn wellies in about twenty six years, these are certainly a good place to start! This was my first time wearing them and I’ve spent so many years avoiding sludge and mud that even when I wore my new wellies out, I still found myself trying to avoid the puddles of mud and water, it must be ingrained in me! After one of our walks in my wellies, I always try and hose them down before going inside, so that they are clean and fresh for our next walk. I know that might sound ridiculous to some, as I am fully aware that wellies are supposed to get filthy but I guess it’s simply not in me to treat any of the boots I own with that kind of neglect ( this is where I should be inserting the see no evil monkey emoji)! Today’s outfit is a perfect example of what I like to wear one of local walks. Keeping it simple, warm, practical and classic in style.
Seeing you much love and light for the weekend,
Daniella xx
