I had my eye on this smock, floral print blouse just as the autumn pieces were starting to trickle through in the later days of summer. I always know a good piece when it arrives and I find lots of different ways to style it. The colours of this blouse are perfectly in keeping with the autumnal hues and I adore how it looks when paired with these brown tones and soft neutrals, they really pick up and compliment the colouring of the blouse. Talk of floral print has been verging on obsessive around these parts as of late and I apologise if these feminine prints are not to your taste. If they are though, what do you prefer a ditsy, smaller floral print or a bold kinda abstract floral design? I personally tend to gravitate towards a smaller floral print but I also love an abstract design to, I just think they have a time and a place, whereas a ditsy print feels more timeless.
Whilst I wouldn’t brave shorts today, a couple of weeks ago, this was a perfect way to transition into autumn without being too cold nor too warm and lets face it, there is a small gap where one can where both knitwear and shorts at the same time and so I made the most of it, even if it was for that one day!
