Actually Good Hair Care Products

So today I am writing a small post about hair care, beauty posts are a few and far between here on LellaVictoria.com but when I think a product is worth mentioning, I will do it. So though I’m not a beauty product addict, I save any addictions for clothes! But that said I do care about what I put on my skin and what I use in my hair. During the months of isolation I wasn’t able to get my hair done (my mum has since highlighted it for me, luckily she used to be a hairdresser) and my cousin who’s a hairdresser recommended that I invest the money I’m not using to get my hair Done and to instead invest it in some better hair products. Admittedly I should have asked for some recommendations but I didn’t. When it comes to new skincare or haircare I easily become overwhelmed by the amount of products that are out there and it’s hard to avoid being discouraged by that.

Anyway I started my search on Cult Beauty, one of my go-to online beauty stores and I guess I went with what I was drawn to and just went with my instincts, sometimes when trying something new you just got to go for it and not get caught up in overthinking the process. So I opted for shampoo and conditioner by Davines. I hadn’t heard of the brand before but it was reading well and had good reviews. Usually, when it comes to higher quality shampoos and conditioners, I’m unimpressed because I have fine hair and a lot of it and more times then not my hair is left feeling heavy and greasy! Which is obviously frustrating when spending extra time and money investing in “better quality” products and so I didn’t have high expectations but nevertheless hoped for the best. After the first wash of my new shampoo and conditioner by Davines, I was super surprised by the results, my hair felt soft, light and well conditioned. This never happens when investing in higher end hair care, so I felt as though I had struck gold!

After a Couple of months of using this, sometimes even daily, I am still so very happy with the continual positive results. I must almost add that when I shared these products in my insta stories back when I first purchased them, the response was very positive and I had a few messages from people who had also used this brand and specifically these products and only had good things to say. I haven’t been paid or sponsored to share and write this post, I just wanted to share my own thoughts on what I believe to be great products.

Sending you love and light,

Daniella x
