True Colours & More Then Words

Sharing a simple navy and white look today that I updated with this yellow blazer from last summer, which added a great splash of colour. I love how a blazer instantly smartens a look and that’s why I am always keeping an eye out for new ones.

When it comes to good judgement, do you listen to what people have to say or do you pay attention to their actions. I learnt that peoples actions are a bigger testament to their character and more revealing of their true intentions. There are people who try and hide who they are behind the words they speak and that’s where being empathic and introverted can help when discerning who someone truly is. So sometimes keep in mind that sitting back and choosing to both listen and observe instead of just eagerly waiting for your chance to talk can be to your advantage and especially if you’re feeling uncertain on someones energy.

If the persons actions and words don’t match up, that doesn’t automatically make them a bad person, I mean we’re all guilty of talking the talk at some points in our lives and usually there is good intentions there. It might be their words are a testament to the person they want to be but they haven’t quite figured out how to embody that yet. But it could also mean that they are full of sh*t too. You don’t have to cut ties with people like this but just remember to take what they say with a pinch of salt. Personally I try and keep people who’s words and actions don’t align at a distance, authenticity is important to me especially when it comes to people who are close to me. I don’t know why I felt the need to touch on this subject today, it wasn’t inspired anyone but who knows, maybe someone reading this will benefit from it.

Have a lovely Thursday. Sending love and light,
