Happy Monday lovelies, today things change for a lot of people in the U.K. I’m unsure to whether lockdown is over or if it’s just been lightened but I know with most people, you give them an inch and they take a mile. I know for us, we will be keeping to our self isolation because the virus is still bringing in huge numbers of new cases and having M E, I just can’t take the risk, it’s too uncertain and when something is as deadly as this virus can be, the worst case scenario is something I’d prefer to avoid. I don’t want to live in fear but at the same time I don’t want to live ignorantly just because it suits me to.
These photos were not planned and the fact I am wearing no make up solidifies that! I just ended up liking the outfit so much so that I felt it was worth taking a few shot to capture the outfit. As I said, I wasn’t wearing any make up, my hair wasn’t styled either and usually that would make me feel uneasy about taking photos but this time I just went with the flow and I was surprised how I actually felt more comfortable with the no make up photos more then I anticipated I would. Make up is there to enhance what is already there and yes I feel more confident wearing it but I also don’t want to be one of those women that hate themselves without it. A smile on a woman’s face and sparkle in their eye is wear the real magic is at, that’s what true beauty looks like.
Wishing you a happy, healthy and safe week ahead and remember despite what the government says, the virus is still running a muck on us humans and we have to take responsibility for our choices and decisions and use And trust in our instincts.
Sending you love and light,
Daniella x
