I think you would agree that pretty much everything looks good with denim but there is something about a pairing of blue and denim, that in my opinion just looks so good together! It’s kinda got that monochromatic feel to it and then with the addition of the brown knee boots, which lets face it, brown leather is always a complimentary colour/texture to denim. I bought this denim skirt at the end of last summer and I didn’t get to wear it very much and so in a way it still feels a little bit new. This was an outfit very well suited to spring but as we say goodbye to spring and welcome summer, i’m starting to think of lighter ways to style this denim mid-length piece. When I look at this navy blouse it reminds me how much I love wearing blouses in the summertime, they are light and look good with a brilliant variety of things and have that effortless wearability about them, whether you are paring them with denim shorts, linen trousers or mid-length skirts they always look and feel good and so I will certainly be on the lookout for some pretty summer blouses this summer. These days it’s easy to keep throwing on my Weekday tank tops but that undeniable feeling of femininity that comes with blouses is the kinda romantic sartorial feels that I love when the days are warm, long and conclude with beautiful sunsets.

Sending you love and light,

Daniella x
