So today marks the beginning of a new month and despite the lack of excitement and spontaneity in our lives right now, I remain hopeful and open that new opportunities can still come into our lives in unexpected and miraculous ways. Things can change in a minute, we just have to try and keep our thoughts positive, so that any change coming into our live is abundant and in line with our soul purpose. I’ll admit I’ve found this week kinda tough, mentally that is! Its been raining a bit more, which gives that false sense of entrapment (I gotta get some wellies and a decent rain coat, so I can still get out even in wet weather)  and though I’m at home all day every day, I’m struggling to find any alone time and I’m someone who strongly needs occasional personal space. I consider my self empathic and I’m also a water sign and so I’m in my head a lot and so taking time to myself to just sit quietly and ground my energy is necessary for my wellbeing. I have to take responsibility and find a way to make it work, it’s on me and I know that. I know I’ve got in a rut for prioritising other things but I’ll get it back.

Here is a simple layered look for today’s outfit post. I never tire of stripes and I love how just a hint of a striped print still draws the eye in, creating a strong focal point but in an understated manner. This for me is a timeless combination, I can’t get bored of a good knit, jeans and some stripes. And yes, the bag was just for props, I like to pretend every now and again.

Sending you love and light,

Daniella x
