The Interior Book You’ll Want To Read

For the past few months I have been dipping in and out of this book “For The Love Of White” by Chrissie Rucker, founder of The White Company. I’m sure you’ve heard of The White Company but if there is any chance that you haven’t and you cherish simple, timeless with just the right amount of elegance in your both your home and personal style choices, then I highly recommend checking out their store. Of course they don’t have any shops open right now but their online presence is still going strong (thankfully). Anyway, my growing love for beautiful interiors only seems to become stronger these days (all this extra time spent at home, I guess) and with this book sparking moments of joy, lending me nothing but admiration for these insanely beautiful homes, its easy to get lost in the imagery of interior brilliance, with photo after photo giving a display of homes that for me, evoke such a sense of calm and serenity. I know home decoration and interior design is as subjective and as personal as any other form of personal and stylistic expression but if you like the aesthetic of The White Company or you just have an appreciation for interior design, then I recommend this book. It’s also great for me, as a mum because despite wanting to sink into a good book, making time for that simply isn’t working for me right now, and this book is perfect for flipping through, with just small segments of writing, which is also a welcome break from the iPad or phone screen.

Sending you love and light,
