It’s never too early to start thinking about next seasons style and today the focus is on these two pairs of flat shoes. I first stumbled upon the Marks & Spencer flats whilst browsing their store a couple of weeks back and as soon I got home, I googled them and showed my mum because thats what I do when I see something that really captures my attention. I was a bit disappointed to see that online they were pretty much sold out but at least there is always hope for store availability. Coincidently whilst scrolling Topshop, I also found a pair on there that weren’t that dissimilar and potentially and arguably a little chicer. So I thought if I struggle to get hold of the M&S pair, Topshop definitely has a very acceptable alternative.
I imagine styling them with cropped white trousers, a simple top in a similar shade and then a trench coat for a tonal approach to styling these for spring. Alternatively they would look equally chic with a pair of black cropped trousers and a beige/camel brown shirt and some gold jewellery. It feels like a long time since I put any really style focus into a simple pair of flats and these seem like the perfect antidote to my normal obsession with a chunkier style of shoe and definitely a refreshingly lighter approach to dressing for once the spring is finally here! Let me know if you like them and also how you would style a pair of shoes like these.
Sending you love and light,
