A Tribute To This Seasons Hard Working Pieces

Happy Valentines Day my lovelies, whether you celebrate this holiday or not, you’re still getting some love from me. Today is all about celebrating the love in your life whether that’s romantic or not. Personally I think it’s a great day to take some extra time to think about and express gratitude as well as show appreciation to all the people you love and care for in your life, that includes yourself also. There is nothing wrong in giving yourself a little loving as I like think the more we love and care for ourselves, the more we can love and care for others. Tonight, as cliched as it sounds my love and I are going to do what we always do and that’s share a meal together in our favourite spot. It would be nice to eventually change things up but for now “if it’s not broke” you get the point.

Today’s outfit is from a little while back but nevertheless it needed to make an appearance on the blog. Since becoming a mum and though I don’t like to admit it, I have slightly had to adjust the way I shop. I have always tried to invest in modern classics but it seems more important right now that I am extra conscious about the items I invest in. They need to be relatively hard working and interchangeable, I know that sounds a little dull but that doesn’t mean ones outfits have to be dull! You can still update classics with slightly more on trend pieces but ultimately right now I need to spend less time on my outfits and so steady yet versatile clothing is necessary. The boots, coat and knitted jumper are all from the autumn/winter season and they have all been such great buys, I have relied heavily on them and wearing them all together in one look was a perfect tribute to them.

Sending you much love and light,

Daniella x
