So yes, this is quite possibly the biggest photo post I have ever done and I feel as though the british in me feels the need to apologise for the overshare but this was honestly the filtered down version. I think I took 500 photos that afternoon so this was one of my longest edit sessions I have done from just one shoot. I love creating new experiences that become traditions and visiting the Sheppy’s Cider Farm during the early Autumn is something we have done for a couple of years now and it is becoming one of my favourite things to do. It’s especially incredible to now have my beautiful Nova-Rose here to be a part of these special moments whilst making memories that I hope will last a lifetime. I know maybe she won’t remember this early on but we will and I am glad we are able to take her out and get her used to seeing and being in different places, I would love for her to have a taste for exploration and being a little aquarius, I am sure she undoubtedly will.
I never want to give anyone reading or following this blog or my instagram the wrong impression and coming to the assumption that we are the perfect family. We are so lucky to have the bond we have, no doubt but like most people/family’s we have had our struggles, our ups and downs, in fact a lot of downs, sometimes I honestly believe if you read about our life and the trials and tribulations that we encountered as individuals and as a family, it wouldn’t be believable. For many reasons for a good few years we weren’t even able to really go out as a family but then a couple of years ago a miracle happened and between that and the work we have made on a personal level and as a collective we have (I hope) built a solid foundation where we know that us a family, us creating experiences new and traditional, us working together is what counts and everything else is extra. We choose to grow together and love is at the roots.
I know it might sound soppy and pretentious, that’s not my intention. My message for todays post is that as family we are not perfect but we love each other and we know there is little time for drama and for us, it’s important to create memories, ones that are full of happiness and positivity, we’ve been a part of a lot of negative situations in the past and now its time re-write the future for us but mostly for the next generation.
I know it might be dull for you to look at our family photos but I like to share this part my life too.
Sending you love and light,
Daniella x
