These photos were taken back before I had my hair chopped on a beautiful sunny evening and if I’m honest I am surprised at how well these photos came out considering I was a little on the “one too many Pimms” side when these images were taken. I think it’s fair to say that floral print has now become a modern wardrobe staple, no? As far as prints go, stripes is the only print that has truly aligned itself with being a wardrobe basic (thanks Coco) but floral print is definitely worked hard at clinging onto its wardrobe must-have status, wouldn’t you agree?! I really don’t think you can go wrong with owning some floral print pieces, they are always fun and flirty and especially during the summer months. I’ve owned this skirt for a couple of years now and i’m still enjoying finding new ways to style it ( I believe finding new ways to style up old pieces is a form of being conscious of sustainable fashion) like for todays post combining it with simple wardrobe basics and my summer, shoe of the moment, these Teva sandals (last worn HERE).
Wishing you a fun and fabulous week.
Sending you love and light,
Daniella x
