Spring is the scent of wisteria, one of my favourite flowers but more on that tomorrow. Here I am wearing a snake print jacket that I bought from Warehouse a month or so back. I had lusted after it from when it first became available and when I seen it went on sale down to £25.00 down from £70 I didn’t think twice. It’s faux leather which for me is a bonus as I am trying to be more and more conscious of my leather consuming and though I really like how this jacket looks, I have to say I was a little disappointed in the material. Now, I love warehouse and have always been happy with their pieces but I am so glad I never payed full price for this piece, I think I may have contemplated sending it back. Now I know faux leather isn’t going to feel like the real thing but I also have to say that faux leather has come a long way from the plastic-y feeling it once had. This piece feels more like plastic and smells kinda weird. This said, I still really like how it looks and given that I only paid twenty five pounds for it, I can’t really complain.
When styling this statement jacket, I went for a minimal and simplistic structure, with androgynous tones and a pops of colour. I did add one more statement piece to the game and that is my very cherished Trademark bag, an item I treated myself too after having my daughter.
I hope you like how I styled this jacket, I will try and get the second way I styled this jacket on the blog soon.
Sending you love and light,
Daniella x
