Though Christmas celebrations is before the New Year celebrations, I’m at a point where in my quiet time, I am starting to reflect on this past year. I’m thinking about what I’ve faced and what I’ve overcome. What I have learnt about myself, what I’ve  learnt about others and what I’ve learnt from experiences that I have been a part of this year. I’m reflecting on my mental, spiritual and emotional self and all the ways I have grown, whilst also taking the time to figure out the parts of me that still need more time, focus and healing in the next year. I’m processing what I was hoping to work on and achieve in 2018 and where I’m at with that now we near the end.

To take time and express gratitude for the lessons and blessings I have received this year is important for me to do, as I am a firm believer in the attitude of gratitude will bring continuous abundance. To even express gratitude to all the people and situations that seemed challenging and stressful at the time because eventually they help us to grow and learn things about ourselves. I am feeling a little overjoyed at this moment in time because as I write this I’m blessed with the Angel number 447 (yes I’m a believer in numerology and how it can bring messages) and this number is so aligned with what I’m currently writing. It speaks of personal spirituality and self awareness, about being patient with myself whilst I grow and learn. Most outstandingly it speaks of personal reflection and contemplation! I mean for me that’s so incredible and so reassuring. The fact that this number pops up as I’m writing this post to me, is no coincidence. It’s so very aligned and a beautiful synchronised message.

I hope and encourage you to also take the time to reflect on this past year. Remember it’s not about judging or being hard on yourself or others, it’s about looking at where you were at the beginning of the year vs where you are now and not necessarily physically but mentally and emotionally too. It’s about congratulating yourself on your personal achievements no matter how big or small they may seem to you or others. Self reflection is also good for being truthful with yourself and looking at where possible improvements need to be made to better align yourself with living a happier, more peaceful life. This doesn’t need to be done in a way that makes you feel guilty just simply acknowledging what needs your time and focus and moving forward with that in a productive and loving manner, one step at a time.

Moving onto my outfit for today’s post and I love the combination of the luxe faux fur and silk in the rich navy hues combined with the tough doc martens for a perfect high/low mix. The diamanté tights are a simple and subtle touch for bringing some festive flare to the outfit.

I hope you have enjoyed today’s post!

Sending you love and light, Daniella x
