These photos were taken in October, in the autumn afternoon sun and I love how golden light gently hits the crunchy leaves on the ground which unintentionally coordinates rather well with the colours of the floral print turtleneck. This top from the side perfectly accentuates the shape of my baby bump because of it’s fitted design and yet from the front the heavy print almost creates an illusion, making the bump less obvious.
I don’t know if anyone reading this can relate but I’ve really struggled with casually dropping into conversation that I’m pregnant with people who haven’t seen me in a while. Like if I were to run into someone and they were to ask how I was, I find myself responding in the same way I always have, you know with just a simple and effective “I’m fine”. I find that to casually drop it in there is really unnatural and I don’t know why. If I’m honest I kinda just hope they’ll notice that I’m pregnant and they’ll bring it up with me! Either that or I’ll just wait until they eventually see me pushing a pram with a baby In it, ha! I guess I’m pretty much at the point in my pregnancy now where it’s practically unmissable and so I’m sure people can just put two and two together and save me the awkwardness.
Anyway I hope you like todays look.
