Today I’ve put together a post based around coats, the coats that I’ve invested in for this season and the next. Last autumn/winter I didn’t buy any new jackets or coats and so this year I felt my outerwear was in need of a much needed update. It seems as though this year there are loads of gorgeous jackets and coats and the high street stores definitely seemed to have upped their game. Warehouse have really got it down when it comes to their outerwear section and I just love their brown teddy take on the classic peacoat style of jacket and hence why I didn’t hesitate for too long when making a decision on purchasing this brown beauty.
Even though I’ve always bought pieces from Marks & Spencer, their coats have never overly appealed to me. But all of that changed when I took one look at this long checked style in their Limited Edition range (see look 1). A great coat and especially for Autumn and in my eyes a chic modern classic. To conclude my coat collection, the white faux shearling style in look 3 is pretty much the most perfect shade of winter white and it’s snugly appeal alone makes this coat every bit worthy of the purchase.
Anyway, I do hope you have enjoyed today’s Coat Edit post. Let me know your favourite, if you have one that is! It’s my sister’s birthday today and so I’m off to enjoy the day celebrating that.
Sending you love and light an may this week bring you joy and success!
