Happy Monday lovelies! How was your weekend? Mine was quite the festive one. On Saturday My mum an I checked out a local Christmas fair in the morning and in the evening the whole family went to a bonfire and fireworks display. And though it was cold and drizzling, I love the tradition of getting all wrapped up to go and see fireworks in November, it’s like the last autumn festivity we take part in before all ththe Christmas fun begins. We went to our local COOK shop earlier that day bought some of their individual pies to have with some mash potatoes when we got in after seeing the fireworks. I love a good, heartwarming dinner like that after being out in the cold and It was the perfect way to end the day.
Today’s look features this great corduroy blazer I bought from & Other Stories a little while back. & Other Stories is quickly becoming one of favourite places to shop and I’m very To happy to hear they are opening a store in Bristol! Though I may not live in Bristol it’s only 45 minutes in the car which compared to 4 hours to London is a doddle.
I styled it with a classic shift dress and with my floral turtleneck underneath. I just adore the way the blazer combined with the printed top creates a very rich and eye catching look even if the detail is a minor one. Sometimes the smallest details can be the most effective. I know these knee high boots may be a little dated but I’m still happy enough with them, that I don’t feel the need to update my black knee high boots just yet. A printed turtleneck, a corduroy blazer and some knee high boots seems to be the perfect way to update the LBD with an autumnal, retro twist. I hope you like this look as much I do.
Wishing you a wonderful week.
Sending lots of love and light you,
