I promise I’m not a crazy person baring my legs for the sake of fashion! It has literally, just this weekend taking a turn for the colder and up until this weekend it really has been a very mild early autumn. This skirt was actually my younger sisters and she kindly gave it to me, even though it’s one of her favourites. I love it’s green colour which is why I styled it with this vintage green wool shirt. The shirt really brings out the colour of the skirt, whilst also creating a monochromatic look. I have also long been a fan of pairing something oversized with something more fitted, I just find it always works proportionally well and an oversized shirt with a mini skirt is always a great, fail-safe way to achieve this look.
This may also be the first time you are seeing these amazing snake print shoes that I bought a month or so back from Mango. If we’re talking animal print, as much as I love a bit of leopard, snake print is much more me. I especially love it in shoes and accessories and so I’m glad that animal prints are having a big moment this season.
I hope you like this look!
Wishing a you great start to the week, hopefully it will bring you lots of love, happiness and creative energy.
