A few weekends ago, we went to Sheppy’s house of Cider on one perfectly autumnal Sunday afternoon. If you’re ever visiting Taunton for the weekend or maybe you live here and are looking for something to do this Autumn/winter, then I highly recommend taking a drive to Sheppy’s. I love to get outdoors and breath in some fresh air as often as I can and here, you can walk around the apple orchards, which looks exceptionally pretty this time of year. You’ll also hopefully get to see their beautiful donkey’s and there was also a horse when we were there. I love donkeys and so this kinda made my afternoon. Sheppy’s have recently had a bit of a make over and usually I am left feeling a bit meh when It comes to new places opening in this town but Sheppy’s is without doubt the exception, they have done a superb job.

They have the cosiest cafe with THE yummiest cakes, a little on the expensive side but justified when you start feasting on one of their sweet treats. Once you have finished in their cafe, you can wonder over to their shop and deli, where I believe they have curated a fine selection of foods ranging from pasties and pies, butchered meats, fudge and cookies and of course plenty of Sheppy’s cider. They have also opened their Apple Bay restaurant, which we have also eaten in on another occasion and this is now probably one of our favourite places to dine at and I am looking forward to going there again. I would especially like to try one of their Sunday roast dinners in the near future.

For my outfit I chose my printed mid-length dress from last Autumn, which coincidently matched the apples rather perfectly! I paired the dress with an oversized slouchy knit and my Dr.Martens boots for a slightly grungy approach to autumnal dressing. I also added in my mustard coloured bag as I loved how this would pick out the colours of the printed dress as well as the natural surroundings. I hope you like todays post. We tried our best to capture the colours, the energy and the rustic charm of Sheppy’s House of cider.

Sending love and light to you, may this weekend be a beautiful one,

Daniella x
