Key Pieces For Autumn: The Belt Bag & Snake Print

Happy Monday my lovelies! I hope you all had a fun weekend. Normally my outfit posts are a little backed up and the looks that I post are from about 2-3 weeks ago. Whilst I still have some that I need to get on the blog, I couldn’t help but charge froward with posting this outfit that was only shot on the Thursday just gone. I simply love it and didn’t want to wait and so I just went for it.

The skirt was one of my first Autumn buys back in August and I’ve been waiting to wear it. You can’t go wrong with a skirt of this colour, style and length. I was a bit gutted to see that it’s no longer on ASOS but if you find one similar, don’t hesitate on buying it, it’s a classic that will see you through the rest of autumn and winter.i did find a nice alternative on Mango (listed below) which by the way I’m loving this season. You should really check out their current collection if you haven’t already.

I loved how this skirt looked with just a simple cream jumper which by the way can be bought from Marks & Spencer for just £12.00 and they do them in a variety of colours. Whilst I’m a big believer in good quality knitwear, having some cheaper basics that you can throw on time and time again and then just throw it in the wash and not have to worry about dry cleaning is also something I can appreciate. For me M&S has always been my go-to for cheaper basic jumpers that hold their quality.

Though I bought these snake print boots a couple years ago, they couldn’t be any more perfect for this seasons animal print revival, though I love a bit of snake print pretty much all year, every year. I love how the print pops against the colour of the skirt, which I must say is more of military green in real life but because I had to adjust the lighting in these photos as it was so bright, the skirt has come out looking more of a brown. I opted out of carrying a bag with me that day, thank you belt bag! Yep, I just just took my phone and lipstick and I was good to go, sometimes you can surprise yourself with how little you need to carry with you.

I’ve  had this belt bag for years and I found it to be a great accessory for disguising the bump a little. Not that I care that much about my beautiful baby bump showing or not but it’s nice every now and again to look a little more like me rather then pregnant version of me.

Anyway I’ll leave it at that today.

Wishing you a great start to your week! Sending you love and light, Daniella x
