Expressing My Gratitude & Upping My Blouse Game

Oh it’s been a very grey, rainy and windy week and I don’t think the weekend gets much better, but still plenty of fun to be had regardless of the weather, it’s what you make of it right?! I’m thinking of going to see that film A Simple Favour, feels like it’s been a while since we last went to the movies and it’s the perfect rainy day activity.

Oh oh my goodness I was so overwhelmed with the response I received on Instagram yesterday after sharing the news that we are expecting a baby! Truly blown away by the love and support, completely unexpected but so very appreciative. If you haven’t seen the post already, you can read the blog post Here.

Todays look was shot about three weeks ago I think. I combined this beautiful heart print blouse by Joseph that I picked up in sale back along. I had my eye on it all summer, hoping and praying it didn’t sell out before I could buy it. I’ve been really into blouse as of recently, I mean I’ve always loved a good blouse but I’ve been wanting to up my blouse game and there have been quite a few that have caught my eye. I think this one is going to be especially perfect for as my stomach expands.

I paired it with these Elizbeth & James wide, crop trousers that have a bit of a culotte vibe about them. My favourite thing about them is their colour, another great  grab from the summer sales. I think they’re going to look great with the tabacco coloured pieces I’ve been buying into lately, perfect for taking them into the autumn 🍂. When I put this look together, I wanted to combine the ease of summer with the styling along with some colours of the autumn and merge together these two seasons into one trans-seasonal outfit.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

Sending you love and light,

Daniella x
