Today I was thinking about my purpose in life and i’d be lying if I knew what my purpose is exactly but I feel very conscious of the fact that I want to be able to encourage people in a positive manner. I don’t necessarily mean on a massive scale though yeah that would be wonderful too but even it’s just the people that are close to me or even a few of the individuals who read my blog. I want to be able to encourage and uplift people to be true to who they are and to follow their heart and passions in life in whatever way they can. Because when people are doing what makes them happy, they light up and that reflects onto other people and it just helps to make the world a little bit happier then it was before.

I know now how it feels to be put down and discouraged from doing what made me happy and it’s espeically horrible when it comes from someone who’s opinion means a lot. It gives one such a gutted feeling inside, like someone’s come in and turned a light off in the room that you are enjoying being in. If you’re not careful it can subconsciously or consciously sway you from continuing on in the direction of what makes you happy. Thankfully I’ve also had people in my life who have been very encouraging of me pursuing what makes me happy even if it doesn’t always make sense to others, it makes me happy and that’s all that matters. And that kind of encouragement gave me a lot of strength.

You can’t always worry or be concerned about the opinions of what others think in terms of following your passions, your creativity and what lights you up because they are often coming from their level of perception, not yours. Also some people, those who are close to you like a parent for instance may have had other ideas for how your life should go and forget that it’s not their life to dictate.

I hope I can always come from a place of encouragement and not judgment when it comes to helping those around me find and follow what inspires them and what makes them happy. Because so many people feel stuck, like they can’t do what they really want to do. Life’s too short and you just have to find a way to follow your heart whether that’s taking small steps or big steps because as long as it’s a step, then that’s great!

To those enjoying an extra day off with the bank holiday Monday, have a great day.

Sending everyone love and light, have a great start to your week, Daniella x
