So exactly a week since my last blog post and I’m finally able to get back to posting. I’ve been unwell with a seriously rotten headache that lasted almost an entire week, with only one day of relief amidst that week! But thankfully for now it’s gone away and I’ve been able to put this post together just before the weekend. And what a perfectly fitting time to post as the three looks that I am sharing with you today are styled with Friday and the weekend in mind as you’ve probably already figured.
I was sent these perfectly chic jeans by J Brand and to only style one look, in my mind, simply wasn’t enough. I was so pleased and inspired by the versatility of these jeans, that I felt I had to share with you just how flexible these jeans could be. Personally I love white denim, no matter what time of the year and the fit and shape of these jeans are arguably my favourite kind of fit. High waisted, cropped with a slight flare and just all in all very flattering.
Date Night: If if you want to dress them up for your Friday night dinner date, then what better way then to team them with a simple silk camisole, a blazer, I’m loving the oversized/boyfriend style and a pair of nude heels. This conveys a chic, timeless and sexy message without appearing like you’ve tried to hard.
Saturday Shopping: If you’re hitting up the Saturday markets or just going for a casual lunch with a bit of window shopping after then I loved the idea of styling these cropped jeans with a classic striped shirt and a slightly more fitted navy sweater over the top and giving it a tuck in. Tip: if you select a more cropped style of sweater, this will help to avoid getting that “tuck in bulge” at the top of your jeans; Opt for a casual pair of sneakers like a classic Superga pair and to keep things summery fresh and current, go for a basket bag, I think it looks super chic. I like to choose a massive one so I can knock people out of my way, lol just kidding!
Sunday Evening Stroll: Make the most of these beautiful summer evenings by taking a stroll on a Sunday evening, to help engage you with nature and bring a sense of calm and healing before the madness of Monday begins. If you’re like me and still want to look cute whilst doing so, then these jeans paired with a cute summer blouse that makes all the effort so you don’t have to is a great way to go. Personally I love the vibrancy of the red against the white, which I neutralised with a pair of tanned summer sandals.
Anyway that concludes todays post, I really hope you enjoyed All three looks and hopefully I’ve maybe inspired you with some outfit ideas for over the next couple of days.
Have a wonderful Friday, a fun weekend and sending you lots of love and light,
Daniella x
