So i’m back with not one but two outfit’s that I recently styled. I didn’t post on Monday because it was a bank holiday Monday and I was too busy enjoying the long weekend. The first outfit I wore was actually on Good Friday, it was miserable weather and so I was mostly indoors but like most occasions I still like to put on something that I feel good in and so I went with a good knit and my favourite trousers to wear at the moment, these MiH corduroy jeans. I felt like the outfit needed an extra detail and so I took inspiration from all the stylish lovelies and added a simple yet effective bow to my hair. I just raided my ribbon stash that is usually used for decorating presents and with my mums help, I applied the ribbon to a low key ponytail. Whats great about this hair trick, is that you can simply go to your local haberdashery and choose any colour or texture you want, with an affordable price tag to match. I may look for some chic velvet ribbon for my future hair accessorising endeavours.
In contrast to the first look, my second outfit which was styled a couple of weeks ago, definitely had more of an uptown feel but with a retro edge. Full skirts such as the one I am wearing isn’t the type of style I am often inspired to wear but every now and again, I am evoked and inspired to take on a retro classic like this. The red satin look of the skirt isn’t exactly an effortless piece to style but thanks to my, what seems like, an everlasting sartorial desire to combine pink and red, the styling kinda flowed from there.
My mum says, that next week we are due to get some warm weather. I don’t know how correct this is but if we do, I am soo excited for that. I’ll probably have to do a fake tan first though, my legs are looking see through these days.
I hope you like my looks.
Love and light to you my lovelies,
Daniella xox
