Happy Spring Equinox

Happy Spring Equinox day!

Okay so I know this is not a day that everyone chooses to recognise as reason to celebrate and to be honest before now I haven’t either. But for me I belive this is a great day to recognise and show gratitude. The spring equinox marks the first day of spring and has a perfectly balanced 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night. It also marks the beginning of the astrological new year, which begins in Aries.

For me I have often felt that the spring brings a feeling of renewal and this year I feel even more compelled to tap into and take advantage of that new energy. For the spring equinox we can draw upon the creative energy, thinking up new ideas that can bring forward and supply us with the foundations that we need to build our ideas upon. Though I have been receiving a few repetitive messages recently, foundations has been at the forefront of my recurring messages and giving the time of year and the message that the spring equinox can bring, it makes perfect sense. I feel I can bring my dreams into fruition as long as I can give them strong foundations. Because I do believe we can absolutely manifest our own realities with faith, trust, positive affirmations and visualisation but we have to start by planting the seeds ourselves. Though, there is quote that I recently discovered that I love and found to be very inspiring:

“If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now Put the foundations under them.”- Henry David Thoreau

The spring equinox can teach us this:

Hitting refresh

Letting go of what no longer serves our higher good.

Spring clean, clear out your home, get rid of clutter and do what you can to make your home space feel cleansed and fresh. You know, buy a bunch of your favourite flowers, a new candle, some new cushions.

The end of one cycle and the beginning of another.

Start a new hobby or project that suits your personal interests, you never know what it could lead to.

Wishing you a lovely day,
