Last week I had the pleasure of going to up to London to visit the store of my favourite sunglasses brand Black Eyewear. I was lucky enough o meet the owner of the brand Robert Rope and he showed me personally all of his designs. I will talk more about this very soon.
I knew beforehand that snow was given on the weather forecast and so my main style objective was to keep warm but as always I like to try and look/feel good doing so. My old leather leggings have been my cold weather go-to for years and then I layered them with some leggings underneath for extra warmth. A big ass faux fur coat, a cashmere beanie, my fair isle knit layered up and my Doc martens (to avoid slipping on any ice) and I was set.
I actually really love London for taking photos, it’s crazy busy but you can always find a quiet little spot at almost any point. The snow in London gets dirty really quickly due to all the foot and car traffic but we managed to find somewhere that was still beautifully white which created a wonderful setting for our photos. Before we went home we stopped a place called Percy & Founders for something to eat. It was a lovely, relaxed setting with a nice easy menu. There wasn’t many vegan options unfortunately but still a nice place to go if your stuck for somewhere to eat. I also got the chance to pop into the & Other Stories store. I know it sounds geeky but I was rather excited about this because I love their clothes but only get to see the pieces online, so it was nice to see them in person.
Anway I hope you enjoy today’s post.
Take care,
