Happy Monday! I’m probably going to keep this short today as I’m currently in bed with a horrible virus that’s making feel like crap! Here are two outfits that I wore in January. The knitted navy blue cardigan was a present I received from my mum for Christmas. It’s so sweet and definitely a classic that’s easy to style into looks. For the first outfit I teamed the knit with my cargo trousers/jeans that I bought from Topshop a while ago. I’ll admit I took my jacket off for this shoot which is not something I do often, in fact hardly ever but I just preferred the way the outfit looked without.
For the second outfit, I styled the navy sweater with yet another green coloured piece, this time my good old favourite Isabel Marant blazer/jacket. I guess it appears I’m into a navy blue and green combinations currently. Chuck in my white boyfriend jeans and dr marten boots and my casual, classic assemble was all but complete. I actually wore this to take my beautiful nephews to the park. It was unexpectedly very muddy and my boots got covered but thankfully I avoided getting any mud on my jeans. Not that it would have bothered me too much if I had got mud on my jeans, as most stains tend to come out. I live with dogs and two nephews, I’m definitely used to my fair share of stains but I don’t let this stop me from wearing what I want to. I can’t bare it when people don’t wear what they want to wear in case of their clothes getting ruined! Life’s too short, wear what makes you happy and deal with the stains later! There’s not much that doesn’t lift or come out.
Anyway, I’m off. Have a wonderfully productive week. Take care,
Daniella xox
