I’ve had this outfit in my mind for a while but I hadn’t worn or shot it because I couldn’t get the idea out of my head that I wanted to shoot the look by the beach. Well, a few weeks back and my mum and I took a drive to Dunster beach which is really close to us and I love it there because it’s usually quite quiet in comparison to other beaches. There was a few dog walkers but apart from that we had the beach almost to ourselves. But then in the middle of January, I guess that’s to be expected and so the time of year was definitely on my side. It was such a beautiful, clear sunny day and though I was concerned about taking photo’s in such a bright light, I found that we made it work to our advantage.

I don’t think my mum had been to this beach before but all I know that for the last few years, i’ve wanted nothing more then to bring her to this place because I knew how much she would love it there. I get a lot of my love for nature and peaceful surroundings from her. We don’t often get time together but this turned out to not only be how I had visualised photography wise but it had also ended up being a very special and memorable time with my mum, a woman of whom I love, admire and appreciate more then there are words to describe.

I hope you like the photos, I know they go on forever but I loved so many of them and believe it or not, this is indeed the edited down version.

Have a wonderful weekend my lovelies,

Daniella xox
