Things are truly back to normal this week, as my boyfriend will be back to work fully now. The Christmas break was awesome but as always is the case when you’re having fun, time flies by. The house is stripped of all the Christmas decorations and I have a little bit of the post-christmas blues. But I can’t complain because i’m alive and have the excitement of what awaits for me in 2018 at my finger tips.
I’m sharing two outfits with you today, one of which was taken back in November (the first one) where the location was situated around the autumn leaves of my most favourite kind of tree, the willow tree. Weird question but do you have a favourite tree? I think my love for willow trees goes back to watching Mary Poppins and the scene where Mary has tea with bert under what I believe is a willow tree. Ever since then, I dreamed of one owning a home that has a willow tree in the garden, so I can have a table and chairs situated underneath it.
My second look couldn’t really be any further from the first one. If the first looks lacks any casual flair the second outfit most certainly makes up for it. The hoodie, joggers and trainers combo isn’t exactly innovative and so to mix it up a bit I wore the biggest faux fur coat I own as well as adding a red lip. This bought a contrasting essence of glamour to an otherwise very understated look. Maybe not for everyone but definitely well suited to my taste and style.
I hope you like both of today’s looks.
