It really is the most wonderful time of the year. I love December and I love the entire lead up to Christmas. I always enjoy looking for and shopping for beautiful Christmas wrap. Last year I really wanted to get some of the gift wrap from the White company because it was lovely but I was a bit late and missed the opportunity to buy the design that I had wanted. So this year I made sure I got in there nice and early. A few weeks ago, I bought the three rolls that are featured in the above photos, along with some Christmas tree decorations and their Winter scented candle, which smell’s just as you would hope.
I loved the idea of having just plain white wrap dressed up with green, red or being hessian ribbon and an impressive gift tag, possibly finished off with a small branch off of the Christmas tree. I also couldn’t resist some classic red and then the simplistic yet cute and festive print of the brown paper.
Another thing I wanted to buy before December was a Christmas fusion for our lounge and just as we were about to give up in the cushion isle of TKMAXX we both found this “Tis The Season To Be Jolly” one and it was perfect. We also picked up this wool, checked blanket, a perfect winter throw in my eyes.
To conclude today’s post, my mum kindly picked us up this miniature tree from Marks & Spencer to go in our window. We’ve had one of their faux trees before, in fact it’s currently in our bedroom and so I know how good the quality is. I also can’t get enough of their little wire lights, they are just perfect for lightening up little corners of the home and though I bought them for the purpose of Christmas, I can’t promise i’ll take them down once Christmas has passed.
Do you buy your Christmas wrap before December? Or have you only just started? Either way i’m intrigued to know.
