In October we (the family minus my sister) took to the Quantock hills for an afternoon walk. It was a beautiful day for it, as the weather was absolutely glorious! It’s something I have visualised doing with my mum for a few years now and finally and thankfully she was well enough to do just that, this year and I couldn’t have been happier to see that vision materialise. My boyfriend was there too along with my adorable nephews and our dog Koko. I was especially happy when we seen that the wild ponies were there too, it always feels a little magical when they show up. I could easily sit up there for hours just watching them huddle together in their gentle nature.

I don’t like to take this to a political place but recently the conservative party announced that apparently animals have no fear nor do they feel pain! This is all to do with brexit and rejecting a clause in which currently protects animals. It amazes me and goes beyond my comprehension that anyone in this day and age would contemplate the thought that animals neither feel fear or pain, let alone this come from the minds that are supposed to have the intellect to run our country. I swear, that this year, all politicians in this country and others (America)….(Trump) have decided to go back fifty years and dismember all the work that has been put into making changes for the better. We need to get all those backwards thinking fools out of parliament and get some fresh, forward thinking individuals that haven’t all come from the same middle-class backgrounds. Just my opinion.

Sorry not sorry for the rant but sometimes I have to speak up rather then sitting back, worrying that I might offend someone.

Take care,

Daniella xox
