I don’t post many looks of mine that were styled for an evening out but every now and again, i’ll slip one in there and today is one of those times. This was actually shot about a month ago, it was what I wore for my birthday meal. I toyed with a couple of outfits but nothing was feeling right and that’s when this orange piece of gorgeousness caught my eye, just hanging there in all its shimmery beauty. I put it on and it just felt right. It was simple yet elegant and the colour gives it that something that feels different to all the other slip dresses. Admittedly I usually like to keep to either a white, black or navy pallet when it comes to dressing for evening events, mostly because I like to keep it classic and simple but this was my birthday and even though the colour is kinda out there, like I said it was still very simple in design with the exception of the interesting straps.
I always find that when it comes to shoes for evening occasions, that’s where I always struggle, as so many of my shoes are either very out there or flats and this look needed a pair of heels. I found my trusty Stella McCartney nude sandals that I have had for years and they still continue to be comfy and stylish as they ever were. I kept my jewellery just as simple as the rest of the outfit with my special Monica Vinader necklace, you may have already read about this HERE.
I hope you like today’s look, wishing you a great Friday and an even better weekend!
Take care,
Daniella xox
