A couple of weeks ago, my mum, my sister and I went perfume shopping. I’ve always had quite a big perfume collection, I’m not someone who can have one or two scents and simply stick with them. My perfume choices are a bit like my wardrobe, a mix and match of different styles. I like sweet scents, I like florals scents, classics scents and fresh scents. When I do get a new perfume, I usually go for one that I haven’t had before but recently, I’ve been thinking about some of the perfumes that I used to wear as much as I’ve been thinking of something new. See I do find perfumes to be nostalgic and though I try to live in the present as much as possible, I am undeniably quite a nostalgic individual and the scent can take me back to time gone by and sometimes it’s nice to romanticise the past a little bit. This particular fragrance takes me back in time to 2007, I was 18 and I wore a lot of Jack Wills (when it wasn’t so heard of) Abercrombie and Fitch, Ralph Lauren and Uggs! I lived for the OC, had just met my boyfriend and one of perfumes that I sprayed on myself daily, was, you guessed it Lacoste, a touch of Pink!
So so when We were shopping the other day, I decided to get myself just a small bottle of the stuff to remind me of those days, it fun and harmless and that’s what I love about it.
What at scents remind you of your younger days?
Take care,
