I bought this unitard bodysuit from Missguided ages ago and though I can’t say that it’s a piece I would have thought I would have been drawn to, it is nice to try something new. I liked how minimal and sporty it looked but I also like the dragon stitching it had and I think that had it plain, i’m not so sure I would have gone for it. Wearing a one piece is kinda like wearing a dress but I did find that I had to think a little harder on how to style it as opposed to wearing a dress, which is always relatively simple. It’s so fitted too and it’s fitted everywhere and i’m not used to that as much. You know the odd fitted skirt, top or trousers but rarely all together. So to make myself feel a little more, well, me, I added in an oversized shirt. It needed something and it was too warm to wear a jacket and so this was the perfect compromise.
In the end I went with keeping the look on the minimal side of things. Will I wear this piece again though? Well, whenever I buy something expensive or on the more affordable side of things, I always plan on getting my wear out of whatever I am buying and though the ideas for styling this unitard don’t flow as naturally as my styling ideas usually do, I still want to find ways to wear it again and mostly because it’s unbelievably comfortable.
Would you ever try the unitard?
Wishing a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.
Take care,
