I’m defiantly someone who loves those casual vibes and even more so when those casual vibes have a sporty element to them. I bought these trousers in the Topshop sale last summer and they still continue to be one of my favourite pieces to style. The striking colour of the trousers, their sporty inspired design and their relaxed fit is what always has me reaching for them. Usually I like to dress them up a bit and team them with something smart and a little more unexpected but this time I fully embraced the casual, sporty tones and styled them with a casual tee, plain hoodie, trainers and for a retro twist, the yellow aviator sunglasses. Though there was one exception and that was my vintage bag! I love how this original ladylike piece should theoretically look completely out of place and maybe to you or others, it does. But I’m loving the juxtaposition nature of the combination.

Oh and what do you think of red and white styled together? Personally, I love it and it was a colour combination that I used to wear a lot in my teens. I bring this up because my mum and I were briefly chatting about colour combinations the other day and she was saying how she wouldn’t paint her nails one said colour in case she wore another said colour that clashed with it. From my perspective, I think gone are the days in where we worry about what colours clash, I think now more and more people just go for it instead of putting old fashioned limitations on their style. What do you think?

Take Care,
