The day I wore this we had gotten up at the crack of dawn because Conan (boyfriend) had an early dentist appointment and we thought it be nice if I went with him and then once he had finished we could go and get some breakfast. We tried a new place and unfortunately it was pretty bad, I ordered French Toast and it was just plain old eggy bread. There was no hint of Vanilla or Cinnamon to give it something special and I don’t know if irritates you too but I get really annoyed when you order like pancakes or french toast that comes with maple syrup and they bring out a tiny little dish with maple syrup, i’m just like “give me the damn syrup bottle already” because it’s never enough, wow that sounds super ungrateful but I know you understand.
I have to say it was really cool, getting up early and being in town before all the Saturday town goers arrived, it was calm and peaceful and it felt as though we had the whole day ahead of us rather then feeling like the day had disappeared. Yes, there is something magical about being up nice and early to really watch and appreciate the day unfold but admittedly i’m not naturally an earl bird. I am much better at getting up earlier then I used to be though, so that’s good.
For this look I style my very old but yet still very cool checked trousers with this cute t-shirt that my (sweet) boyfriend picked up for me when he was in London. See I love The Breakfast Club in London, we try and eat there whenever we are visiting London, though DO NOT go at peak time because you will be queuing. So yeah, it was nice of him to bring me it back.
Have a great week,
