There aren’t endless ways to make a midi dress versatile but there are a few. Layering a top or in this case a chunky, oversized knit over the top of a dress is one of my go-to ways, when it comes to re-styling a dress. In todays look I chose my printed midi, Topshop dress that you may have seen appear on the blog a little while ago and paired it with one of my favourite pieces that I picked up in January sales, this grey, Marks and Spencer knit.
In the last six months, there has been a lot of changes in my life and by the looks of it, 2017 is going to continue that theme of change. At the end of 2016, one of our closest friends left to do a year at Uni in London and though we all couldn’t be more happy and proud of her making such a life changing decision, we all miss her dearly. On top of that, one of my oldest friends is now leaving to work abroad for six months! I am honestly so happy for him and this is something everyone has always felt is his calling and he has been in need of a life change for a while now and I can already see the positive effects it is having and he’s not even left yet but again I will miss him. They have both become like family over time and it will take a little getting used to, I just sincerely continue to wish them the best and change is something we all have to face from time to time. I’ve never been good with change but I am learning more and more that change isn’t always bad!
How do you deal with change?
Take care,
