Anyone who has followed my blog and personal style for long enough will know that I love to layer my looks! But so far this Autumn/ Winter I would say my style has taken a more simplified manner. I’ve felt these last few months have pulled me in a direction that has felt a little more minimal or at least my version of that. Taking a more simpler approach to styling my looks is kinda something I told myself to do at the beginning of the season but only because it reflected both what I was feeling at the time and because of life being a little challenging these last few months is was also what I needed and still need. But all this said, it doesn’t mean I don’t like to get creative with layers anymore because I do and today’s look expresses that.
This outfit that i’m sharing with you today features a blazer I bought from Zara back during the January sales! It’s not exactly how I imagined it would look and fit but nevertheless I still love it. It feels quite thin and so wearing it whilst it’s still cold, is a slight challenge but you know what? Sometimes I like a good style challenge! I decided to layer it up over a my oversized white shirt and this red zip up sweater that I had not worn in a while. To keep warm I opted for my puffa jacket, frayed jeans and my trusty black ankle boots. Though I love how the blazer looked all layered up, I do look forward to wearing with lighter outfits.
Take care and wishing you all a wonderful week ahead.
