Today’s Look Homely Comforts

I don’t know if you’ve ever gathered from my posts but I am a real homebody. Maybe this partly due to my star sign (cancer) or the fact that having an illness that has lead to much of my time being spent in bed for a lot of my life, that it has left me feeling that being away from home for too much time leaves me a little anxious. The answer may not be that complicated, maybe it is simply where I feel my happiest. Though this is not to suggest that I don’t like to get out and explore, in fact there are a lot of places and countries I would like to visit, I just need to have the self discipline to make that happen. Hopefully I will be spared enough time in this life to make this happen.

Over the Christmas period i spent more time at home then I anticipated, for a few reasons but one of the main reasons was that I was unwell with the flu or some extreme virus that strongly felt like the flu. Thankfully by New Years, I was able to gather enough energy to get out with my love for some lunch but for New Years day I was feeling a little weak and so  we kept things for the most part casual by watching a film with my sister and nephew, followed by the much anticipated Sherlock Holmes! Did you see it too?

I mentioned in my last post that I bought this cable-knit sweater in grey and here I am wearing it with my classic stripe shirt by The Sleep Shirt, some old leggings and just some grey ankle socks for a very comfortable and classic look, perfect when surrounded by all my home comforts.

Take care,

Daniella xox
