A belated outfit post on what I wore for New Years Eve, though you may have already seen this snippet of todays look Here. We went out for a late lunch on New years eve and because I was/still am recovering from being unwell, I wanted to keep things relatively simple, comfortable but yet still in keeping with the glamour that comes with new years eve. I used this opportunity to FINALLY wear my silk camisole by RAEY that up until now I hadn’t worn. At first I played with tucking it in but then I actually tried just wearing it loose, which I think thanks to it’s longer length, looked pretty cool. And for the first time this winter i’m back in my trusty leather leggings. I’m not sure if I have shared these patent ankle boots on the blog yet but i’ve pretty much been wearing them non stop since I bought them a couple of month back. I love how their burgundy colour looks with the pink faux fur coat and the mink coloured top.
For the last couple of years, i’ve kept my jewels mostly simple/minimal and because i’m still on that vibe, I chose these old layered necklaces that were hidden in the depths of my jewellery box. I like that they are simple yet still make an understated statement.
Hope you like this look as much as I do and though the New Year’s celebrations may be over, this outfit would still work well for an evening of cocktails, or a meal at a restaurant or a birthday do. It’s a very versatile look, which is why I continued to share on the blog.
