Just over a week ago on a cold Saturday afternoon, my family did our usual Christmas tradition of heading out Langford Lakes to pick our Christmas tree. I like to take photos of this and post them on the blog and so I will try and do that soon. For this tradition I like to keep my attire warm, comfortable and somewhat classic and it usually means me wearing my CAT boots but on this occasion I swapped them for my good old Acne Studios Pistol boots, boots I can rely on to always look good.
Styling just some simple skinny jeans with the boots as well as a white turtleneck sweater to keep the base of my look simplistic, I then added my newly bought puffer jacket for some up-to-date edge. Completed with the tallest beanie I own, that I can never tell if I look cute or ridiculous in?! I’ll let you be the judges of that but please say I look cute just to save my ego from the pain. Like bomber jackets, puffa jackets have come into my world with brute force. I mean i’ve owned one in black that I bought from COS years back but now I want one in every colour, including another black one but this time with a different shape. But, I am trying to control my urges that tell me I need them all and have settled with this mustard coloured beauty that I bought from Topshop online. I hummed and hawed for ages over whether or not to buy it and to be honest i’m lucky to have it because I wouldn’t have been surprised if it sold out whilst taking so bloody long to make my mind up.
Anyway, incase you were consider buying it, I ordered this jacket in a size UK12 (i’m typically a size UK8) because I didn’t want it to be fitted and that size IS still available, you know, in case you were just wondering 😉
Take care and wishing you a wonderful week,
Daniella xox
