It has been so cold this week and i’m not going to complain too much because it has reminded me of what an actual cold winter feels like. Not to say we haven’t had cold winters but in the last couple of years I would it say its been relatively mild compared to some winters I’ve experienced, or at least where I live, that’s been the case. I bet now that it has hit December it will warm up again and this really irritates me because it’s the time of year that I really enjoy it being freezing outside. l like wrapping up really warm whilst Christmas shopping and then peeling of the layers when I head inside a coffee shop for a hot chocolate.
Going back to when it wasn’t quite as cold outside and when a beautiful long wool gilet would bring the right amount of warmth. This Brown long gilet that I bought last autumn continues to find its places in my outfits. I styled it with my Joseph blouse and some old wide leg trousers. A brown and white combination isn’t something I see or wear very often and I found that this was a great way to update wearing whites in the autumn/winter. With the addition’s of my snake print bag and croc print slippers gave the outfit some textured depth to an otherwise simplistic look.
Enjoy the rest of your Friday and have a lovely weekend!
Take care,
Daniella xox
